Compliance
Receive all Allowable Reimbursements
In the current environment of government oversight where the threat of an audit looms large over the heads of many shady providers, it falls to the average, upstanding provider to ensure compliance with Federal and State guidelines so that he can defend himself in the event he should become the target of one of the many government regulatory bodies. The single most effective way of navigating through an audit is by having a current, actively observed compliance plan in place in your practice.
MBR adheres to a culture of compliance in all phases of operations. Our goal is for you to receive all allowable reimbursements to which you’re legally and ethically entitled, doing so in a manner that fully complies with the letter and the spirit of all rules, regulations, and guidelines.
MBR Compliance Administrators
Our compliance officer administers the program, which is designed to follow the guidelines from the “Compliance Program Guidance for Third-Party Medical Billing Companies,” issued by the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).
MBR’s compliance program remains current. As guidelines change and new regulations and rules are released, our program is regularly revised, and employees are kept abreast of all changes that may affect client compliance. Clients are also regularly informed of changes to compliance regulations through special bulletins and our monthly newsletter, so you’ll never feel like you’re out of the loop.
MBR’s clients are secure knowing that our compliance program and employee training are in place and followed, resulting in an overall company culture of compliance. Our compliance training ensures both MBR and our clients follow the law.
